Where can I buy some well-fitting jeans or khakis that aren't too dressy? I used to buy my pants at the Gap, but it seems like everything there is either too baggy or too small now.
@mike_311: I've found [www.paycheckcity.com] is pretty helpful and accurate. Make sure to select the correct year and state!
@GeicoCaveman: Same thing happened to me last year—H&R Block said I owed money while TurboTax and TaxAct gave me the same refund amount.
I had severe GERD a few years back from napping every night after dinner. The only thing that helped me was OTC Prilosec (and not lying down after I eat!). Now if I have a flare-up, popping a Pepcid Complete for a few days gets it under control.
I want to tone my lower body. What are some good exercises I can do at home without a weight bench or a ton of weights?
Related question: Did MSE 2.0 ever get pushed out? I'm still using 1.0.2498.0 and when I check for an upgrade through MSE, it says I'm using the latest version.
@bdinger: You don't have to click cached to find the discussions.
@ayellen: I just did this last week for the firs time. I didn't have time for a shower but had hair all over my neck and face and needed to remove it immediately. A few sheets from the lint roller cleaned me up nice. Surprised I hadn't thought of it sooner!
@Wes: Is there a way to test the sites when you make a copy on the new host, or do you have to wait until it's live to make sure none of the links or forms are broken?
I'm going to help my company switch registrars and hosts for their two web sites. I've never done this before. What do I need to know to make sure everything goes smoothly and the sites don't experience any downtime?
@danieltobey: Same here. What's the deal?
@HeartBurnKid: Agent of R.O.A.C.H.: Holy cow, I just checked out some subscriptions on there and saw some amazing deals. Thanks for this tip!
@teh: I'm assuming leather wears better and will last longer, but synthetic is more resistant to salt...right?
Any opinions about synthetic vs leather shoes?
@kettlewhistle: Ha! I just got a message in my Gmail spam folder. It's probably only the 5th such message I've ever gotten there. Oddly, the subject line was "dfo 6r7" and the message body was "ux2." I think all of my spam messages in Gmail have been similar. What's up with that?
I never get spam at my personal Gmail address because I never publish it in any form or sign up for anything I don't consider to be a legitimate site. If I want to post an email address on a web site or sign up for something, I use a separate account that I only use for sharing online.
I've noticed something many liars seem to do—repeat your questions. For example:
I'm having a problem with Google Images. Sometimes when I click an image, it redirects me to the page it's on instead of just showing the image. Is this because the site in question is redirecting Google traffic? Is there a way to disable the redirects?
@Bill Clark: Thanks, that's what I was afraid of. That said, what do you think about using Twitter only and spreading out 140+ characters over two or three tweets? Also not ideal, but a potential solution for longer ones.
