I had an idea to start a funny Twitter account directed at a specific industry, so I started writing some tweets to make sure I was capable/interested. Sure enough, I am and want to take a shot at it!

How is searching for "Bert AND Ernie" different from searching for "Bert Ernie"? Shouldn't they both return the same results? I Googled both and got a different number of results.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a personal email handle to use with a FirstnameLastname.com domain?
Great, now how can I make it start up faster?
I do this in Outlook as well. It sorts folders alphabetically, so I add leading exclamation points for folders I want at the top, and I add leading Zs for folders I want at the bottom.
I've only had one job that required 40 hours of work per week, and that was as a writer/editor for a major corporation. But once I knew their guidelines inside and out, it felt more like mindless data entry than anything else.
@y0urm0msname: I know PR isn't what it used to be, but I still like it when trying to determine how respected and popular a web page is. I've tried other addons but this is by far my favorite. Sigh...
So there's this great Firefox addon I like called Live PageRank. It's this simple little thing that tells you the Google PageRank of whatever site you're on. That's it. I love it.
@cmdtacos: Yeah, I think you're just supposed to throw it out...I sure wouldn't try to clean that thing off.
How about just buying a Zip-It?
@Mickets: Awesome, this worked perfectly. For some reason when I was trying to use the "Filename" filter earlier, I couldn't get it to work. Thanks.
Does anyone know how to create a smart view in Winamp based on file path? I have my ipod-worth files in one folder, and all the rest in another.
The NYT link is asking me to sign up. Here's a link that should work for anyone: [www.nytimes.com]
@flacster: It's not that I don't like changeāI don't like THIS change. Seeing a tiny image of a web page doesn't help me decide if I want to visit it. I like reading through the listings and looking at the URLs for trusted sites and the image pop-ups distract me from that.
@sirhomealot: That never worked permanently for me, which is why I had to disable it through Adblock.
@jaybirdfive: My favorite book of all time.
@Arkatek: Hideja kids, hideja wife.
@phrawg1: Haha! I thought the same thing at first.
Don't forget Vonnegut's greatest quote about writing: "When I write, I feel like an armless, legless man with a crayon in his mouth."
@tshack: Not at all. I often use the internet before going to the doctor, or instead of if it's not serious, but in this case it might be worth asking during your next office visit.
