What's everyone's favorite apple? I'm a Honeycrisp man myself. Galas are all right, and Jonagolds are pretty good, but nothing rivals the crunchy, juicy sweetness of the Honeycrisp! I only wish they weren't $2.69/lb around here.

I thought the purpose of Evil Week was to highlight unethical behavior and, as a result, help us "understand how evil works and protect yourself from it in your day-to-day life" (quoted from [lifehacker.com] ). How exactly does this post do that? Should I install locking caps on my tires?

I bought a used iPod Classic 6G but am not a fan of the software (split screen format, screen saver during playback). Is it possible to find and install the old 5G software on the iPod? I've read the old software won't jive with the new hardware and I'll risk bricking the iPod, so I'm a little scared to try.

Anyone know how can I get my Anjou pears to ripen faster? I've kept them in sealed bags by themselves and with apples and they still take 7-10 days to ripen! It's infuriating.

I usually just put my garbage can on the floor next to my feet and toss stuff in as I go. Everything else goes in the sink.
