I don't watch a lot of TV or movies, but it's time for me to upgrade to an LCD TV. What are some good brands or models in the 32" range that won't break the bank? How much do I need to worry about 720 vs 1080p and contrast ratio and all that?

@Conn09: The ability for the moderators to mark and move the comments probably had to be built in on the back end. It looks like an easy add-on, but when the developers are already busy with other projects, I can see why it'd take a while. At any rate, better late than never.

Does anyone know if the 3G iPod Touches are going on sale anytime soon now that the new ones are coming out? I heard Staples had the 32gb models on sale for $148 this past weekend, but they're pretty much all snatched up.

I need to buy a car soon. Any recommendations for a nice, newish used car between $10,000 and $15,000? The most important features to me are reliability and gas mileage, and I'm open to any make/model.

@crackerjackheart: Amen to that. I don't want to talk to anyone for the first hour I'm awake. I'm just waaaay too sleepy/irritable to engage anyone in conversation without being a complete jerk. But agreeing to "couple time" at some point everyday is a good idea.

I ended up getting a pretty bad farmer's tan this summer. Is there any way to make it fade faster (like through exfoliation) or do I just have to wait it out over the winter?

@callit: A regular ol' coffee is $2-$3 here in my medium-sized town. Is that cheap? I wouldn't mind spending more for a fancy drink once in a while but I don't like all the sugar.

Working from home, I like to go to coffee shops once or twice a week for a change of scenery. Contrary to what others say, it IS possible to get work done at a coffee shop. In fact, sometimes I need to leave my house because it can be more distracting than a coffee shop when I really need to spend an hour or two…
