@RickJamez: It's true. I re-ripped my CDs to mp3 earlier this year (had them at 192 kbps, switched to VBR 0) and couldn't believe how much warmer the CDs sounded compared to the 192 kbps versions.

Malware actually disabled MS Security Essentials on my parents' computer recently. Took about 30 minutes total to figure out what was going on and to remove it from their computer.
