Hours of fear and anxiety afterwards.

I think a lot of the actual hype behind it was just a case of “Holy shit, finally, a mech game! Dear god, please be good!”

Honestly, Squall’s character growth is the best part of this game (unless you’re more into batshit anime plotlines and twists, then that’s on another level). I really hope that this remaster helps to rehab this game’s image. Yes, it’s a game that’s entire battle system can be twisted and broken on a whim, not

I 100% believe that Tyson doesn’t remember anyone ever telling him about this but I also 100% believe that someone has.

They were probably afraid he’d rape one of them before biting off their ears.

“I don’t even remember what Kirk’s problems were with it but they’re largely unfounded or at least not terribly relatable for most”

My opinion is sure to be massively unpopular, but I’ve always felt that Tolkein’s world is a mile-wide, and an inch deep. There’s a lot of lore, but it’s not terribly meaningful lore, operating more like ostentatious window dressing. I’m unsure there truly is that much substance to really explore. I think the best

This is the correct take. Adam spoiled apples for Eve. Humanity, as a result, has been doomed to the godless realm of science — the cold, unfeeling pursuit of spoiler-ing all truths of human existence.

You complaining about people complaining about spoilers who complain about the people who complain about spoilers.

I like to think that the director and producers went to the artists to tell them that they had to change the design, only for all of them to look at them with eyes of disdain that screamed “we fucking told you!”

or we get told to shut the fuck up if we try to help.

Yeah, my thoughts exactly. There’s no good answer for this kind of thing as evidenced by the ruling that came down on Castor Semenya earlier today:

lol is this like a parody post about dumbass gamers or is this you being a dumbass.

I’ve been learning an important lesson in understanding what hills are good hills to attempt to die on.  This one is not ... at least for me.

We don’t tell people to find something else to do when it comes to books or movies and we should avoid doing it here.

There are two issues here:

The majority of gamers just buy games and play them without spending time interacting in the “community.”

You could make that point about every product ever made in the history of humanity. I strongly dislike anthem but I hate these overarching generalizations that the product is bad so it must not have been QCed properly, what do you know about their QC process? Seems to me like management just rushed out an unfinished

Word of mouth killed the game. It's really not bad. But the whole "online survival" thing was divisive to say the least, and most people formed their opinion on the game long before it came out, or without even trying it
