just going off what you typed; ‘everyone’ is using shotguns, which means that the majority of players seem to want to use shotguns...which means that for the majority of players the game is now more fun to play, i.e. ‘better’

you really shouldnt start destiny 2 until after next week’s update anyways...
guns are the murder weapon, but the media’s coverage is the main reason why stylistically similar mass shooting keep happening. Who would even think of walking into a public area to shoot people? the idea hasta get into the crazy person’s head somehow, and guess what? broadcasting about it on every platform available…
I always found the clunky item usage interface great motivation to just get better so I dont need to use it. So now I use skills that drastically reduce how often I need to sharpen, I hardly ever capture, have gotten really good at dodging so I dont hafta heal/buff and basically just leave my item selector on one of m…
thats kinda the point though, bringing the whole experience of a different game into monster hunter.
YEAH, any decent person will call out the stupid things other people say on the internet! ...huh, guess I’m a decent person then.

I’m just annoyed that this article about a “giant mech game” is about a VN, an interactive picture book; instead of being about an actual video game with giant mechs (you know, something that you play, that has gameplay, where you do not spend >99% reading).
...I’d rather just call them visual novels, using general wording for a specific thing implies that it belongs to the general form. So in this case “giant mech game” implies that the article is about a giant mech video game, the general form being something like front mission, or armored core.
by definition I would agree with you; VNs, even the ones with the barest amount of interaction are technically video games.
isnt kotaku basically the place for jrpg fans though?
unrelated to the article itself, but could we please stop calling visual novels games?
to be fair, many mangas have a seperate author and artist
huh, I always thought he was a relatively mediocre artist; I like his designs, and I like the concepts behind his writing, but the actual execution? pretty meh...this new thing’s cover is good example, that chicks face looks terrible. There is magic, and it is manga, there is no reason to make your poster girl look…
welp, at least I get Deception 4...
that only works if the linear story is great. Yes, some games have achieved that great storytelling in a linear adventure, but more often than not (like 99.8% of the time) they dont.
nah, click on the link;
“If music is considered valuable enough for streamers that they want to include it as part of their stream (because it makes their stream better)“
free no matter what? no, but “like this” (i.e. random bgm is a stream/yt video), yes.
I’ve always thought how licensing for music works is kinda...backwards (at least how it’s used in similar situations as this); the streamer/youtube uploader/movie/series/etc is not making money because of the music.
