the first time I played 8 I didnt fully understand the draw/junction system and was terrible at finding GFs; so I ended up having a hell of a time with the last boss having only a few extra GFs and not having more than ~20 of any kind of spell...I had to rely so much on summons, luckily 8's shiva is the best shiva xD

did the expansion bring anything with it aside from new story missions that is worth playing? heroic strikes are lol, psure theres no new raid, is the mercury patrol zone hella fun with all the end game activities? or is the “hey I just got instagibbed by the new gun” pvp worth $20?

they’re free in the second game as well, you dont have to spend a cent to get eververse items (not a single item is locked to paid content, aside from you know...the game/expansion itself), the ‘gamers’ are angry because that’s their natural state.

luckily the content that we’re(vanilla players that didnt get the expansion) locked out of is super boring anyways, so...yay? prob wont hafta get osiris expansion to be able to play the next one though? right? I always got D1's expansions when they released so not sure how D1 handled that.

pvp ttk is likely unchanged, and more probably easier to achieve now that body shots do more dmg, high RoF may be more sought after now (and sweet business becomes the new meta until it gets nerfed)

just sayin, but a review should always be impartial, whether the writer loves the thing or hates it should in no way affect the review, the one thing to take into consideration is the reviewers experience, in this case a jrpg is being reviewed, and a writer with significant experience with jrpgs reviewed it, imo…
