this late in the franchise, I can’t really imagine many people who arent already fans will even think about buying this game, regardless of how it plays, so imo catering to the hardcore fans seems the best strategy

generally speaking an indie game is going to last <10hours, usually a AAA game is going to last >20, so while the indie game may be good, its not a whole lotta time spent being entertained vs the generally longer lasting AAA titles, ymmv ofc but regardless I’d prefer a ‘bigger’ game
