It's so infuriating to read about glitches and bugs like this. Sims 4 is a much-pared down experience over its predecessors, and despite dedicating their "limited" resources on the new engine, animations, and emotions, they failed to ensure the game would be ready for launch. Another absolutely shameful performance by

There's been an awful lot of coverage lately considering how bad this game is. Compared to even the vanilla Sims 3, this game is a colossal step backwards.

The Sims forums are always hilarious. It's the kind of thing to browse when you're home from work sick and want to get a few laughs. Very dramatic place with lots of silly in-fighting. It feels different than most game forums in that the range of players posting is massively diverse (from very, very young kids who

Oh, man, don't you love it when you can shoot the shit and joke with your coworkers? I used to have a group of coworkers who sat around with me all day making jokes about genitalia and sex and vibrators that play Christmas music. Those were the days! Now most of my coworkers are religious and I have to watch what I

"Kiiiilllll..... mmmeeeee....."

The difference between you and I is that you're willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. They have taught me, through their actions, that they no longer deserve the benefit of the doubt.

It seems like they really nerfed the system requirements on this version. I remember in the past a lot of people having trouble running the game - mostly due to being casual players who didn't have high powered rigs. I know I had to upgrade a PC for Sims 2 and its expansions.

Isn't this exactly what happened in Eraserhead?

What are you nuts? They're saving that for the Sims 4 Expansion: Zombie Ate My Neighbors edition.

That's a lot of people across different setups having the same graphics card glitch...

Those models live in negative space. The Otherworld.

It's EA. So no, it probably crashes too.

You wouldn't jump to worst-case scenarios? From the team that recently brought you SimCity? No, the truth is these people don't have much respect for the consumer and it shows in the launches of their products. Sims having trouble with navmesh? It happens. Babies turning into spaghetti? C'mon, someone had to know.

Demon babies are... not new to TS4... though I suppose TS3 was more fond of demon puppies than demon babies.

The Sims 4 might not have toddlers, but judging from the first crop of glitches people are finding, maybe that's not such a bad thing.

At this point horribly deformed skeletal models are a rite of passage in every Sim's life.

I kept waiting for the "baby" to bite its mother's throat. The Sims 4: a new generation of horror!

Rushed it out too early like usual.

Why do the graphics look worse than The Sims 3?

I don't think The Sims series has ever had a semi-decent launch. This one is pretty bad, though. I'm not sure how they could have missed it. Most likely, EA said..."GOLD!!! MAKE IT GOLD!!! We'll patch it later!" and intentionally pushed it this way. How big of a bug must it be that intentionally pushing out a bad
