Now playing

I have to say that it makes me extremely nervous when game critics favorably compare Cyberpunk’s presentation to Starfield...without mentioning that CD Projekt Red is a 60-100 hour/week shop, like Rockstar, whereas Bethesda is quite insistent that rank-and-file developers go home by 6(emphasis mine):

Two incredible, single player story-driven horror remakes in one year, holy shit.

“Capcom has instead seemingly dug into my brain and pulled out the version of the game I remember playing in 2005”

As someone with no real opinion on Sanderson or Wired, I think there is the basic issue of an interview, like all news, is really filtered through the lens of the interviewer. Kehe seems to not like Sanderson much, but saying things like “I never got anything real from him” is pure pontificating that takes away from

Wow, this is a great example of how you actually apologize and repair the damage you’ve done!

I mean, yeah he obviously shouldn’t have done it in the first place, but arguably what he’s doing now is better than a lame-ass apology and moving on until it is forgotten.

This is interesting, because after reading the comments, all I can think with a lot of them is “you’re all right.” The Japanese gaming industry wasn’t ready to shift focus to multiple “similar” platforms simultaneously, they absolutely favored themselves over foreign ideas and people, and the change in what players

It’s an amazingly deep and fun game. My 9 year old and 15 year old daughters are having a blast exploring. Even my 43 year old wife, who doesn’t play games at all, loves going around and collecting things, opening up the map, etc. The long and short is, it’s probably one of the best, biggest, most fun, and most

See, I’m really split on this. I used to hate QTEs and had explained to my wife how notorious they were in older games. QTEs largely fading out as a mechanic was a very welcome change. I think players generally don’t want to be expected to be on edge while watching cutscenes.

It may be unpopular (or not, based on the replies here?) but I have trouble being upset about this, despite flirting with this limit. Universal Studios isn’t required to enable my fat ass. It’s an odd business decision to potentially exclude half your customers, for sure. But I’m not going to be outraged about it.

I’m inclined to chalk some of this up to the first version of the ride being implemented in Japan. It probably wasn’t 100% guaranteed they’d get the nod to add Nintendo to the rest of the parks, so they designed the original ride vehicles for a Japanese audience and now they’re just re-using them elsewhere. Nintendo

Two things can be true: obese people should be treated with dignity, respect, love, and validation; and we need to confront the food problems that are causing unhealthy obesity and killing people. The former is a social issue; the latter needs to be led by the agencies who are supposedly built to help combat public

So short line is what I'm hearing?  Nice.

While I think they probably should have designed this to be more accommodating, but less than 40" waistline isn’t “thin”, at least for dudes.

Source: I’m around 38" and I’m a bit of a fat fuck.

The same CDC dataset cited noted that 42% of Americans are obese, a number that doubled since 1990. Not overweight: obese. 2/3 of adult Americans are now overweight. But I’m sure I’m in for a lecture or my post will get deleted for noting this.

What extra eyes?

I have two issue

Ugh this article

Uh, I’ve played in more D&D campaigns than I could count and “Hope you like classic rock, because it’ll likely be another skin-deep thrill ride more suitable for a theme park” pretty much sums up Dungeons and Dragons. Most D&D games aren’t deep, introspective, philosophical, high-brow literature and this movie (if the

It is always amusing when someone is completely unable to look outside their own experiences in an attempt to be critical.
