It's running on the same engine, with Stoic's blessing.

Skeptical about these release dates, to be honest. CMT's SPVx project has been dead-again, alive-again for something like 5 years now. It is fun to play through what they've done, although SPv2 of Pillar of Autumn was horrendously long.
Now that it's hitting even the news sites, I have a feeling this is going to be patched sooner rather than later.
This makes sense, given that Type-0 (formerly XIII Agito) is getting a console port. I'm still a little confused that a single product somehow got spun off into two games. IIRC Agito is now a prequel to Type-0.
I had to cancel a road trip earlier this year. Thanks for looking out for me, Square!
I farm this place sometimes, but I prefer to do the things to contribute to eventual, guaranteed rewards, like earning more Marks (Bounties and Strike Playlists) and running the Daily/Weekly Heroics. If I'm just going to farm gear I would rather play straight Diablo, y'know?
Not intended as a criticism, but rather a tip: "no guns" becomes increasingly easy/plausible in the following games thanks to power combos. Mass Effect 3 on Insanity is entirely possible without firing a single shot outside of forced story moments - biotic combos are very easy to set up and detonate, and fire (tech)…
I remember glancing over that "Casual Cruelty Towards Women" article in my FB feed, assuming it was probably going to blow up. Apparently it did.
Not only is subtitle timing off at times, but more than once I noticed they are just straight up wrong.
Aldonoah Zero's OP gave me goosegumps. Actually, everything by Kajiura Yuki gives me goosebumps.
She was probably put off by all the bikini armor.
Bahamut Lagoon! It deserves a sequel or reboot. And props for bringing up Skies of Arcadia, I loved that game.
Thanks for embedding the video. I had only seen the Rick James one that everyone knows about.
As a young child I saw a lot of the Ghibli films, like 魔女の宅急便 or となりのトトロ so that was probably my first exposure to anime. But I guess the show that actually got me into the medium in general was Rurouni Kenshin. I miss 90s anime.
Yeah, it's easy to dismiss anime when you don't know it's a medium instead of a genre. Stuff like Ghost in the Shell is targeted at older viewers and thus less common, but there is some really great material out there. That said the industry today is still dominated by the shounen and cutesy moe crap.
A dash of RPG makes everything better :)
I still have my old Gamecube and Player, having skipped the Wii (I really should get one). But this is cool!

Just FYI for the ignorant, these are SWAT teams. It's not like your average beat cop is outfitted like this, although it's pretty normal to keep a rifle and shotgun in a cruiser.
Sorry, I like my guns.
