I pass plows all the time. You really can’t compare passing a plow in car with snow tires with a semi trying to pass one in a turn.

Rolling coal is a failure of air supply, not a failure of fueling.

Pretty sure that’s a VW bro.

To be fair (and might make an interesting motor related article), most if not all light standards are designed to be sheared just like the video showed, lowing the chances of fatalities when hit.

I had a 77 Chevy Cheyenne P/U that nearly got to 400k. Lost a main bearing while I was hooning it (17yrs old) on the highway. Even past 300k it stood up to a teen hooning it for a year.

Another classic saying I’ve heard - If GM could build a whole car as well as they build engines nobody would buy anything else.

Your words, my thoughts. The price outweighs the mileage, to me- work it until it dies, and when it does you’re not out a huge amount. Love it.

“A Chevy will run poorly longer than most cars will run at all.” - Someone

...and the 6.0 is still in use on GM HD series trucks... 6k lb’s is nothing. Hell, a new 280~hp 4.3v6 can tow more than that.

Do you know nothig of these trucks? I have had 3 of them over 300k with no major mechanical issues. The motor and transmission will outlast the body. What you should be afraid of the is the quad steer. If it brakes, I am guessing parts will be NLA.

You have that backwards. The classic GM (v8) trope is that the engine will always be running, even while the vehicle falls apart around it.

Well, the rest of her is...brunette?

While I love the engine choice, I’m just not onboard with these Vanagon prices. Someone else’s obsession. CP

Nice price - good car to get your kid for college as you won’t give a shit about the inevitable parking bruises it WILL incur.

A solid city car, which you wouldn’t be afraid to park on the street. If it gets a couple more bumps and bruises, here’s no need to care about it.

But wouldn’t that also impact the sales of other hyper-exotics like the new Aston Martin?

But now it looks like we may never know if it was the idea or the execution that was the problem.

It’s Fox News, you expect accuracy?

Its not a Jeep. Its a Russian Vehicle.

This one is such a tough call. It appears to be a really well put together custom. I think the $10k is a bit much, but I could see someone paying near that asking price and not regret it. It’s more than I would pay, but not too far off.
