As a designer, it looks pretty much photoshopped. The lighting and contrast between sharpness and blur didn’t match with the overall appearance of photograph here.
I will say this as someone who beaten the game from start to finish (at maybe 80% completion)...
Never played any true Quake game as I only have played Quake 3 Arena (which is pretty decent!), though I do hear lot of great things about Quake 1 and 2.
And all of these bullshits during 2016 Elections nonetheless.

I have to say, the game does have very very nice foliages, not just grasses but also bushes and trees. The overall mountain environments feel kind of lacking, though in which other games did it better.
Never read the book, but I can get the gist of argument. More often than not, the books are indeed far superior to their film adaptations.

I LOVE The Last Jedi.
Still better than Rise of Skywalker which itself is sort of bad sequel that retcon too much and ruins the overall narrative flow and theme of the Sequel Trilogy, despite having lot of interesting ideas.
