I agree that the “alternative” ending is far superior to the original in which it elevates the generic post-apocalyptic action film into bit more of cerebral kind that casts the vampiric species as beings worth sympathy.

Well, I mean Sword & Shield were given 2 years of attention before Nintendo markets hard with BDSP and Legend: Arceus. I thought they would do the same with those two games.
