To be honest, it kind of bit jarring to see a bit of departure from character design that’s remarkably consistent for over 25 years.

Well, I mean Sword & Shield were given 2 years of attention before Nintendo markets hard with BDSP and Legend: Arceus. I thought they would do the same with those two games.

Those would be great way to expand the Shiekah Slate (or at least the Magic Arm as we see in the BOTW2's second trailer).
Hopefully it is something that BOTW2 would address. The first BOTW is such a masterpiece with very few nagging flaws (such as lack of true dungeons).
