Very cool interview! From the fun little filmmaking I do for passion projects, I know he means when he’s talking about the difficulty with eye line and the tennis-ball-on-a-stick thing. It seems like a nothingburger, but it’s a huge deal if you’ve ever filmed anything with multiple actors in a scene with full-character…

In terms of total runtime though, It’s Always Sunny is only a half-hour show. The most amazing thing about The Walking Dead is that they made that show with those huge set pieces and costumes that many times!? It’ll be years, if ever, before anything tops it in terms of scope on scripted TV.

Just wanted to say thank you to a show that meant something to me for a few years along its run...RIP, buddy. ❤️
