I am here for the Captain Marvel sequel and a third National Treasure movie. I unabashedly love the MCU and ridiculous treasure hunt movies. Which is why I loved The Librarians and am enjoying the hell out of Warehouse 13.

I have watched Captain Marvel many times. (I made sure it was the first thing I streamed on Disney+.) But no matter how many times I watch it, I still cry when Just a Girl starts playing. I know exactly what they were doing to manipulate me emotionally, but I succumb to it. I still tear up a little when I watch Wonder…
As the majority party for the first time in 26 years, Democrats are taking full advantage of their newfound power. In the last week alone, four gun control bills were advanced, and Virginia became the 38th state to ratify the Equal Rights Amendment.
Between this, the ERA ratification, and the Virginia House voting to get ride of “Lee-Jackson Day” (the state holiday celebrating the Confederate generals on the Friday before Martin Luther King Jr. Day) and making Election Day a state holiday instead, I am actually... proud of my state? Such a weird, welcome feeling!
Thank goodness. I had the means and privilege, but still navigating abortion care in Virginia was a high-stress nightmare, one where it’s easier to go to DC or Maryland depending on your location. I can’t imagine what other women had to go through.
Ugh Owen Labrie. I can still see that little shit’s nerd look in my mind.
Geez I thought Owen Labrie showing up for court For his rape trial with the nerd glasses was pretty bad, but Weinsteins walker really takes it to the next level in terms of ridiculous attempts at getting sympathy,
Warren says that the moment illustrated what she’d have to deal with on the job. “I knew it from the first minute,” Warren told the Post.
God, I really REALLY want her to debate his fucking ass. She’s seen what decorum did for Hills and by god, the first ‘Pocahantas’ (and you know he will since he thinks its him being ‘witty’) that fuck launches, she’s gonna go DEFCON 2 on him and level that ego.
With everything I learn about her, I like her more and more. Damn.
And then one day, while the two were in his office, Smith shut the door and tried to grab her. (This is an incident that Warren has spoken of in the past, including, in a fucking incredible move, during the eulogy she gave at Smith’s funeral.)
And people think she can’t go toe to toe with Agent Orange. That’s some…
“And none of it played any role in our decision-making.”
I feel I am missing something here. Does anyone just go to work and do their job and then go home anymore?
On first glance at that top photo of Warren, I read the banner as “Unicorns For All”, which is a platform I could get behind.
You were not kidding about the sheer fucking volume of tweets.
I got a real spicy take over here: I think the president tweets too much.
This guy is absolutely believable as a child molester/rapist; like out of central casting.
And imo, she’s married to Bill Clinton. She’s probably inured to it.
That sentiment certainly speaks to the fear a lot of men have today about being accused. I’m totally fine with that. Men should live in fear for a change. They’ve been indulged for far too long.
“Me too frenzy”? Women aren’t coming forward because we’re so caught up in the moment, we’re coming forward, in a non-frenzied manner, because we realise we’re not alone, we don’t have to stay quiet and minimise or repress our experiences, creeps should be held accountable and there is nothing to be ashamed of. The…
