This is how you do it. You don't go retro—you create a modern car that invokes the spirit of the original design in a fully modern context. This is such an excellent design, one of the best production designs at the moment, in my opinion.
Nice design, except for the fender thingies. Tacked-on and misshapen.
You can take it back.
The Vehicross design aged surprisingly well. Still looks futuristic.
Shit, that is damn lazy.
The Vega was a pretty bad car, but it sure was a handsome one. Nice sweeping clean lines all around, minimal detailing. A pity.
Nothing like driving a van where your feet are the bumper struts!
Not at all, Vettel is fantastic. Yes, the car is definitely part of the formula (pun not intended). But he is pretty fantastic on his own merit.
I get it. You're a Kimi fanboi.
Um, nope.
I like it. It's so insane.
Rest in peace, beautiful child.
1) It's fat. Look at how thick that body is. Fattest pickup in the market. Stodgy.
I mean, you like the current Dodge Ram, which is a steaming pile of mismatched lines and odd proportions... Oh, well.
I suppose you like the overstyled shit we get nowadays, as a design student. Well, good luck with that.
Thank you!
What do you use for your renderings? Markers, ink? What do you use for gradients? Any particular recommendations? Brands? Paper type?
I agree on the fact that the original looks better. Still, that coupe with the wheels and front-end blackout looks better than a modern Honda Accord.
