What about his time as manager of Steven and the Stevens? Or was that mostly him getting into a roleplay scenario?

You can minimize the SU discussion by pressing the minus sign. On a larger comment section, this would result in you having to press the "load more comments" button a lot before you could see the rest of the discussion, but there are nowhere near enough comments for that to happen.
Personally, I felt this one was a bit undercooked, and I've loved this season so far. A lot of the images felt pretty rote and arbitrary (for example, Lemongrab discovering he's perched on his own nose) and Lemongrab's character was bland enough that I couldn't feel his decision at the climax at all (which really…
Yeah, it is kinda disturbing how quickly Ronaldo jumped into horror-movie morality. The guy does have a messed-up distinction between fiction and reality, which might explain his conspiracy fixation.
Yeah, Ronaldo's hook as a character prevents him from really changing in that way at all. I sorta wish they'd started with the Crystal Gem conspiracy stuff instead of doing the straight-ahead parody with the lizard people.
I actually like Ronaldo a lot. Maybe it's just his voice. When he came out in cosplay in this episode it was really endearing
I feel like Lars is a little one-note and mean for the show to keep him this way long-term. There's some good stuff in his interactions with Sadie, but I think it keeps him locked in a sort of unsatisfying stasis.
Yeah. Although the show didn't always go in that direction. One of the things that did really annoy me about S1 was the amount of gross-out humor that came up in the day-to-day operation of the restaurant (most notably in the pilot). Gene scooping up the spilled hamburger samples from the street, Tina scratching…
I was honestly pretty amused at Jesse's terrible taste in games— not only does Rage show up, he plays Sonic 06 with Brock at some point in Season 5.
It isn't, though. Tuco's henchmen in BB were Gonzo and No-Doze, and neither of them were played by Michael Mando.
Gilligan did work on the X-Files, right? Maybe it's an idea he kicked around while he was there.
The Nude Beach episode disappointed me because Aziz Ansari plays Darryl all leery like Tom Haverford.
I'm just happy we get to have those scenes shot in low lighting.
I think he's right that they were part of the inspiration from a concept/design perspective, but Adventure Time loves taking elements like that and going in a completely different direction for the emotional core of the story.
The colored noses reminded me more of Zoombinis than Pikmin, I have to say.
Addendum: I just went to a jazz show around a block from my school, and I looked up the musicians who played there, and the drummer was actually *the very same* one who played on that Horace Silver track. And it was recorded in 1959!
that was a very Tina line.
I dunno, I loved that bit. Erasing a memory-erasing gang from existence by erasing their memories of their gang is delightfully meta.
Was anyone kinda jarred by that moment where Soos makes a nasty remark about Lazy Susan's and Mabel and Wendy both call him out on it? It's not that it's out-of-character or even unwarranted, it's just that it's the sort of embarassing moment that TV tends to gloss over or play for shock comedy.
Don't you wish.
