Nick Drake really hated live performances and was not charismatic. Also, I hope you love several minutes spent switching tunings between songs.

From "Crossover":

I agree! What I said was general, but I was thinking in specific of the Jasper fandom, which I've been following a little bit on tumblr. These people are slowly losing hope that the show's going to bring her back and it's making them question a lot of things the staff have clearly outlined many times. And, while I'm

I don't think it's actually all that off-screen? His arc in these episodes wasn't about Sadie. What Lars comes to terms with is that he's been a jerk and a coward in the past and that he really does appreciate what Steven does for him, and he's been self-aware about this stuff before. (Hell, in some of the very first

Yeah. It's really funny the way the fandom's developed. As the show staff have slowly quieted down on social media, the leaks have gone from "minor and basically ignorable" to "the worst, by far, of any show I've ever watched". So we have a much clearer picture of the show's very near future, but no staff whispering

The OK KO! trailer in the middle felt like such a glorious fuck-you to that whole contingent. (Especially since that contingent sometimes idolizes Ian J-Q because he left before the show "went downhill".)

Also, my TV cut out at the end of Off Colors, *immediately* before the Lars resurrection. It was so ridiculous I had to laugh.

I can see Sadie coming to visit him on weekends when the Off-Colors start to drive him insane.

Anyone notice the commercials in this bomb? Ordinarily they're just about toys and CN properties, but the big eight minute break in the middle there was a procession of movie trailers like I was sitting in a theatre (including the new Michael Bay Transformers movie— some things never change) combined with a new

It will be *very* nice for the show to finally get back to developing the Rose/Pearl relationship.

I love what they did with Lars here! Steven Universe has this very neat and orderly universe where every piece of worldbuilding or character development can be decomposed into tiny thematic Lego pieces. This means that it's very satisfyingly intuitive to think and write about, but it also means that, in the final

"Isn't that basically treason?"

I love my little Gem Troi!

I want to thank whoever came up with that idea, because it's great.

Jamie's whole monologue while trapped in the Gem ship was gold. I really like how they portrayed the Boardie characters in this.

Watch the next episode on the app. It's got some interesting character development for her.

and then she crumples it *immediately* after Steven says Connie's is the closest.

To me, she feels like the emotionally-manipulative side of Lapis which we don't see all that often, but turned up.

On the app. It's pretty good!

Man, you are going to be so disappointed.
