This was a critical play in the game. They were down four with 40 seconds left to play. A field goal and a defensive stop would have let them tie the game. Instead, they give up possession on a stupid attempt at a behind the back dribble.

Are we watching different clips? Austin rivers just caused an unforced turnover with 20 seconds left on the shot clock down 4. He basically cost them any chance because of his inability to complete a behind the back dribble. I’ve never seen anything like it.

He’s got a great first step. The problem is that his second step is tripping over the first one.
