I have an irrational like for these, especially with this stance to them. I don’t like the wheels, not a huge deal, but the price is TOO DAMN HIGH!

Exactly, I know for sure which one I would feel more comfortable not leaving me stranded after 75k miles and its NOT the BMW.

Just buy the fucking thing. The reason why they’re killing off manuals, is because “no one” is buying them. If demand stayed high enough, then this wouldn’t be a problem.

“If you want to look at “value”, though, one has to consider resale.”

So you would rather have an inferior car with horrible reliability just to get a useless trip to Europe. Why not enjoy your car in America where the the streets are huge and traffic is less congested?

Who worries about a 20yr old car depreciating? Really scraping the bottom of the barrel there..

BMW, as well as the other Germans, are notoriously bad when it comes to depreciation.

In my experience people named Kevin are terrible.

Okay.... so two of those cars are motorcycles and one is a Ford Explorer?

Was that the “shop car” or something? Why lead the list with THAT?

Her: What do you drive?
Me: A Ford Explorer
Her: Leaves
Me: *chasing after her* and a 2014 Lamborghini Aventador Roadster, 2014 Mercedes-Benz S63, 2015 BMW S1000R, 2015

1. “2014 Ford Explorer”

I’ll have you know my parents talk all the time. Mostly about what a disappointment I am. So there, joke’s on you.

Pretty much all complex organisms are in the business of destroying other types of life. Think about it, think of any animal, it’s spending its whole day killing or leaching off of or digesting some other living thing. I’d urge you to be slightly less morose about being alive.

It’s a huge difference. I did that, then upgraded my truck to a double DIN setup with CarPlay, wired in steering wheel controls... it a game changer. Transformed my commute.

My feeling is that in the USA, with all the open highway and commutes, diesel could make a lot of sense. 50 mpg cruising down the interstate for many American’s could be kind to the wallet. I don’t think anyone wants a jacked up 6.0 rolling coal in their face, but reasonable clean technology means it could really work

no manual, no care.

Am I biased or have these aged well?

so even more reason to vote CP on today’s car

Hoovie?

also, if everyone is high up, no one is high up.

SUVs are even harder to see out of, with even more pillars and bulk behind the driver than a car.
