And under that rubber is sound deadening that will not react well.  Plus, the seats are still...   Seats

Everything you just said.

Wasnt a hose out interior.  No idea where that started but if you pour water in that thing you're in trouble

What? The element is tiny. And not wide at all. My Accord was bigger.  Also they're ridiculously reliable.  They routinely go over 200k, and the only things I've replaced are the rubber bits

I remember test driving one, my wife and I both walked away unimpressed with the bus driving position, Fisher Price plastics ,and having to unbelt anytime the rear seat passengers wanted out.

Easy there, it isn’t that good.

I agree and disagree. Functionally it was incredible. I bought it specially for putting my Yamaha R6 into chock full of racing equipment and camping gear for a weekend trip. But as a daily driver it was very lacking in power and comfort. However, everyone I knew who liked to throw short jabs about it resembling a

Offroader charm was never really the thing with this. It was more mini UPS van charm. I’m thinking the Transit Connect has taken over the space, but without the funky simplistic styling.

Are you dead?
No

Do you realize that these camera mirrors suffer all of the issues you bullet pointed above except the last one, which is basically a duplicate of the one above it anyway?

Uh, wrong. Wing mirrors do have issues:- They create aerodynamic drag, lowering mileage- They block walking space between parked cars- They get moved or even broken by people walking between cars- They ice up, obstructing view- The window between the mirror and the driver ices up, obstructing the view

Seriously. They still have the arms out there. Might as well put up a mirror for redundancy.

Oh goody. More electronic shit to break and then create gigantic repair bills. Some things aren’t problems and don’t require expensive “solutions”. Wing mirrors are one of those things.

Note to self: Never bring my car anywhere a Jalopnik affiliated writers may be present for risk of actual damage to property
