Whelp, I guess Windows Movie Maker experience is out of the question then.......  Oh well.

I’ve got a gopro, iphone and an old copy of Final Cut on the mac.  Can’t wait to start.

I have a ‘16 that I love, but the new ones are so much more refined. The only problem is no manual with the turbo :(

It’s really annoying, they just try to suggest the most outlandish cars for shock value.

I knew someone once that chose to purchase her car because she really liked the font of the speedometer numbers. Really.

They know what they have.

You can get a loaded Kia Stinger GT2 AWD for $50k. Looks awesome, best warranty ever and a liftgate which is about as practical as you can get for something this size.

Not AWD, but a set of snow tires will get you there. Use what’s left to turn the Mini into a track/autocross monster.

At this point, we can make some reasonable assumptions about Toyota’s production timeframe:

Most cars nowadays are good. Almost all will last over 100k miles. Almost all are relatively safe and have ok amenities.

My wife wanted a BMW and fought me at every turn whenever I tried to suggest a different car. Why? “It’s the ultimate driving experience.” What does that mean? “Ultimate means best.” How is it best? “It’s the ultimate, that’s what it’s called.”

Yeah. When GM’s keep winning you know it’s a shit award.

Each of those drops is ~2%. This is another example of a graph with a shitty axis. Even Mitsu, the worst by FAR, is only 10% lower than the highest rank, despite having a bar that looks like it’s 1/2 the size.

I despise the term fake news.  But jd power is fake news.

Which I feel like is inherently flawed because buying a car is an extremely emotional act in itself.

Yeah, the catch is that it’s a JD Power survey.

This has to be the absolute worse way to measure a car.

JD Power, lol

That’s a pretty low bar.
