I was involved in some laboratory emissions testing back in 2000. While chatting with one of the lab techs, we were discussing the “official EPA fuel efficiency test” since we were using it for the vehicles we were testing.
All these “cheating” allegations on diesels, I wonder how many would cease to exist if the EPA/CARB used legit practices when setting emissions limits?

I took the dealer sticker off my car a couple days after I brought it home. Mostly because they put it on crooked. But also because fuck them.
The aluminum badges are the worst, especially the ones that are oh-so-close to matching the font of the manufacturer, but slightly different enough to be annoying.
