I don’t know where you heard that they aren’t that reliable. My mom had a 2003 Element and we never had an issue with it. The guys at the Honda dealer said they almost never see Elements come in for repairs.

Elements are about as uncomfortable as a UPS van too so your comparison isn’t a bad one actually.
How in the hell did you drive an Element at 6'7"? I am 6'5" and the thing I hated about my mom’s Element the most is that the driver’s seat didn’t go back anywhere near where I needed it to be to feel comfortable. It was a very uncomfortable car for someone my height to drive.
My mom had a 2003 Element. It was reliable as hell but it rode like shit, drove like shit, was quite underpowered, and was a huge gas hog for only having a 2.4 4 cylinder. It was a very unrefined and uncomfortable vehicle. If you can get past that it’s a solid, reliable, practical vehicle though.
This is a solution to a problem that didn’t need to be solved.
There is also no proof that the truck driver pushed the car for an entire mile. I don’t think he pushed the car for an entire mile but I wouldn’t be surprised if the truck driver got pissed off because the car merged into him and then they pushed the Merc down the road out of anger and then played dumb to the police.
Sadly, I can’t say I’m surprised. They are also making shift levers that are unintuitive and difficult to operate. The days of simple cars that you can just get in and drive without even having to think about how to operate the various functions and features of them seem to be numbered.
you are an egocentrical maniac and probably never had to save money for years to buy something you liked.
In his defense, sometimes leaning your door against someone else’s door is inevitable or happens by accident. If I parked and went shopping and the next person who took the spot next to me did a shit job and got too close, then guess what I’m going to do? I’m going to lean my door on their’s so I can squeeze into my…
Yeah, it’s probably unwise to buy an electric car if you live in or frequently drive through rural Nevada.
I don’t really know where their permanent address is. They are retired and they drive the motor home all over the US and Canada and live in it. They are originally from KS though. I am sure they did their research on it.
Would you say that it’s higher or lower? It really depends on who you ask or what area you live in.
6. Many people get bored of what they currently have and get rid of it when there’s nothing wrong with it. Even if it’s a financially stupid decision to do so.
This was never about claiming to be a victim of anything.
Yes. It’s like a rock falling off of a cliff with rocket boosters attached to it.
To prove your point: My girlfriend’s wealthy parents founded an “LLC” in Montana so that they wouldn’t have to pay sales tax on the motor home they purchased. I didn’t even have to ask when I saw Montana plates on their Jeep Grand Cherokee. I already knew.
The definition of lower middle class is subjective. Some studies say it’s as low as $28k a year in some parts of the country but a $50k salary is pretty average in most parts of America. In San Francisco or NYC you’d have a harder time getting by at the end of the day on $50k a year but areas with that high of a cost…
You’re probably right. Most rich people aren’t stupid enough to throw $2,700 a month down the drain without gaming the system somehow.
It’s not targeted to lower-middle class earners, obviously.
BMW, for example, has multiple pricing tiers that grant access to different vehicles ranging from $1,099 to $2,699 a month.
