If I’ve learned anything from being raised by parents who had 3 children, it is to not have 3 children. It’s an odd number and someone is often left out because many things in the world are set up for even numbers of people.

Stay home. Duh. It’s an overrated holiday anyways. But, I have to work on the 4th and I’m getting 12 hours of time and a half holiday pay which means I can’t stay home, but extra pay is still way better than being outside getting sweaty balls and swamp ass.

Resting your hand on the shifter doesn’t do anything when the car is in neutral and the linkage is slack and not hooked up to anything. I know what I’m doing. I don’t put any pressure on it anyways.

Why take the chance? Because I know what I’m doing. It’s not the best habit in the world but it doesn’t hurt anything and I’m not exerting any pressure on it. I’m literally just drooping my limp fingers over it.

Resting your hand on the gear knob doesn’t hurt anything when the car is in neutral. I don’t do that when the car is in gear.

It would still be annoying at stop lights where you do not need to have two hands on the wheel. I usually keep the my left hand on the wheel and my right hand lightly resting on the shift knob while it’s in neutral at a stop light so that I’m ready to put it back in gear when the light is green again. An armrest is

It’s tolerable in my car if I put the cup in the back cup holder but it’s pretty annoying if it’s in the front cup holder. I never eat and rarely drink in my car though so it’s not a big deal.

Test Drive Unlimited was the last good open world racing game there was in my opinion. Every other one I’ve tried doesn’t measure up to it.

There was something odd about the proportions to me. The greenhouse severely tapers towards back of the car and it looks pretty weird when you look at back straight on. I like the front of it but the sides and back are bit awkwardly proportioned. But yeah, still way better than a Prius.

But that’s stupid!

I guess so. Oh well, not my problem.

I saw one in person for the first time a few weeks ago and I was surprised to say the least. It was kind of ugly!

That’s could be a pretty big issue then because I’m betting that the overwhelming majority of people who pre-ordered the Model 3 are expecting a $35-40k car.

I saw a silver one in Overland Park a few weeks ago. I have no idea how well equipped it was though. TBH it was kind of ugly in real life too.

Elon has literally told people to not buy the Model 3 and to buy the Model S instead. He says it’s a better car. I wish I could find that tweet but it was a long time ago.

Oh for sure. Car audio equipment is for the most part crap compared to home audio equipment.

I see. The downside of the aux jack though is that I lose functionality through the head unit. I lose the ability to skip tracks with the steering wheel controls, whereas the USB port recognizes the iPhone and interfaces it into the head unit. I prefer to skip tracks without looking.

That would be one of the few instances where a flareside bed is more beneficial. I kind of miss flareside beds. They’re stupid and impractical but I like the way they look.

Alright, so how do you use the DAC that the head unit has? Through the aux jack? Is the USB jack just an “iPhone amplifier” as you stated earlier?

I don’t really know what the difference is between DAC and a USB port to be entirely honest with you.
