I’ve seen the absurd prices Mini charges for anything optional. No thanks.

AWD is for people who prefer traction off the line in their performance cars. RWD is for people who like to have their ass hang out and care more about fun over lap times.
I’ve never cared about which axles are powered on any of the cars I’ve owned. I’ve had mostly FWD cars and it’s never bothered me.
People who are that stupid deserve to have that mark of shame.
Not going to lie, I would love to go see the airport in Pyongyang just for the hell of it.
Funny thing is a lot of Jeeps in Texas are 2wd.
Jalopnik has a lot more problems than Doug does.
I absolutely love the G but at the time I couldn’t afford one newer than about 6-10 years old and all of the ones in great shape carry a huge price premium. They wanted $13,500 for the particular G35 I mentioned previously and that was just too hard of a pill to swallow for a car that was 9 years old at the time and…
That was kind of the problem with the 200 honestly. It was only a class competitive car in its most expensive trims and with the V6 engine. That’s not the kind of midsize sedan most people are buying.
I test drove a 2007 Infiniti G35 with 70,000 miles on it. There was so much shit wrong with that car that shouldn’t be on a car with only 70,000 miles. They just don’t hold up very well to wear and tear. It wasn’t just that G35 either. Pretty much every G has quality control issues after they’re a few years old.
I hate to say this but the Viper would have sold considerably better if it had an available automatic transmission. Most enthusiasts, including me, really don’t want to admit this.
We’d still have the Honda Accord Coupe if people actually bought them. The buying public has made it pretty clear that they don’t want two door cars that aren’t sports cars. I don’t blame Honda for killing the Accord Coupe. They sat and sat and sat on their dealer’s lots.
That’s their prerogative then. Their car, their rules. My car, my rules.
I disagree. Having your headlights on 24/7 is absolutely not dangerous. It can mean the difference between someone seeing you and not seeing you. I’d rather leave them on and not take my chances.
That thing looks like if you brake too hard it will do a front flip.
It is a nice perk. I was in a fraternity in college. There were more than a few guys who didn’t have cars so they’d always be bumming rides or asking people if they could borrow their cars. So about once a or twice a week I’d always get the classic “hey Kent, can I borrow your car bro?” me: “Uh, you do realize it’s a…
I notice the same thing. Even when they get a quick flash of my high beams in their face 2 or 3 times they still usually don’t even look. Usually when they’re driving in the same direction as me I can’t get their attention because they’re not the car right next to me.
Flashing your lights at people doesn’t seem to work anymore. If I do it to 10 cars that don’t have their lights on when they should, I’m lucky if even 1 or 2 of them get the message.
Mazda does that too. I kind of hate it actually. I don’t need to constantly see a little green light bulb symbol telling me the headlights are on. I know they’re on because I switched them on! But of course they made that light for people who are more forgetful than I am.
