I’ve seen some people buckle their seat belt around the back of the seat because they hate wearing their seat belt so much. At least they’re killing two birds with one stone. They don’t have to do what they hate doing and it won’t beep at them. If they want to kill themselves in a survivable crash that’s their

I’m so used to having to push my clutch in to start my car that it would be weird to not do it. Plus if you want to start it without the clutch you have to put in neutral anyways and I always leave my car parked in gear so I’d have to depress the clutch either way.

Now playing

GM cars in the late 80's and early 90's before front airbags were required were that way as well. You were supposed to leave the seat belt buckled and basically slip into the car under the lap belt.

Yes, a lot of people never clean their door jambs which can turn into a hotbed for future corrosion.

Fun fact, those fabric flaps at car washes are called mitters.

So much this. I got minor hail damage on my 2015 Mazda 6 last spring. It has about a dozen dime sized dents on the hood, roof, and trunk now. Am I going to fix it? Hell no. It’s not worth the time or money to fix it. It’s not even noticeable unless I point it out to people. Plus, it’s just a Mazda. The thing only cost

Where do you live? Barrow, Alaska?

Don’t really know for sure. It was just the rumor that was going around at school and I have no way to prove what actually happened to it. The kid probably thought the whole engine was ruined because it quit running when the fuel system quit.

That’s the rumor that was floating around. Quite frankly I do not care whether it was exaggerated or not. The kid probably thought his engine was ruined when the fuel system stopped working and it wouldn’t run anymore.

I don’t get the fuss about automatic car washes scratching your car. A good wax and polish twice a year will take care of it.

Hot take: I don’t fucking care if my car gets scratched by the mitters at the automatic car wash.

Yeah I see it now. That’s hilarious

I wonder if this is what they were going for?

Unfortunately Canadians seem to pick up a lot of us American’s bad habits.

Also, the factory Yokohamas and Dunlops Mazda uses only last 25,000-30,000 miles. I have a Mazda 6 with the stock Yokohama tires and they are shit. 30,000 miles and they’re nearly bald, loud as shit, and have zero wet traction.

Lucky you. My deductible was over $1,000 and the windshield replacement only cost $270 so I had to pay out of pocket for it.

In all seriousness, who all out there has bought a new car and had to have the windshield replaced within 10 days of owning the car? Not a fun thing to deal with.

I love how people are getting so butthurt about one single E46 wagon being destroyed when Cash 4 Clunkers destroyed thousands upon thousands of cars like this.

There was a guy I went to high school with who put a Twix bar in another guy’s gas tank. It was a supercharged Hummer H2. The twix bar ruined the entire engine.
