I have a black 2015 Mazda 6 and the front end looks like Star Wars.

It is crazy how if you ever hand wash a Mercedes or a Volvo you can literally feel the thicker paint.

I worked at a full service car wash for a year in college and we had a guy who came in and got his black Maxima washed daily. His clearcoat was fucked from having it washed so often.

I think it’s mainly 1st gen 9-5s that have the issue. My 04' 9-5 had a mind of its own when it came to the climate control. I did notice that my 9-5 didn’t really seem to have that great of an AC either. It worked but it took a good 5 minutes to really cool the car down.

A lot of Saabs give you heated and unheated air at the same time whether you want it or not because the blend doors in the HVAC system are notorious for going haywire.

I hate rolling my windows down. Nice to know someone else understands.

All the way red heat on my car is unbearable after a couple of minutes. It’s great for that warm initial blast but anything after that and it’s excessive. Even right in the middle between red and blue is too warm after awhile. In winter I usually put it a few notches into the blue side after the interior warms up.

I do live somewhere where it gets legitimately cold. My hands get cold long before my feet do.

You would think I would have that problem as a long time contact lens wearer but I do not.

Apparently I’m the weird one then. Also when people ride in my car I notice they usually block the airflow coming the vent or point it away from them. I move them back and unblock the airflow as soon they’re gone because it bothers me. Lol.

That would be my car. No dual zone climate controls and no rear air vents. I will also lock the window switches if anyone else rolls down their window when it’s cold outside because fuck them and I don’t want to hear the wind noise.
