I really do miss the Note II. It just didn't fit into my "lifestyle". The one handed operation of a device proved to be too crucial for me. It's an awesome phone.

I tried that but didn't like it. I think if the back of the phone had been made of something that wasn't smooth but textured, it would have felt and worked better for me.

I briefly flirted with a Note II when it was time to upgrade to the iPhone 5. I bought the Note II instead of the iPhone 5 but returned it after 2 days. I really liked the larger screen and Android quite a bit, but I found that the size of the screen wouldn't allow me to complete tasks I was so used to doing 1

This is very interesting. It sort of reminds me of parts of The Grudge.

Yeah your right, looks very similar to the metro map. I moved away from Falls Church, along the orange line, 7 years ago. I really miss D.C.

Dumbest visualization chart I believed I've ever laid my eyes upon, and I've seen some really dumb ones, especially while working at the Pentagon.

If this is real, surely its a prototype. Otherwise, this looks like an iPod Nano screwed into a makeshift wristband, literally screwed in.

Now playing

I guess I'll post here in case those of us that are older readers, who remember The Knack as a band that sang My Sharona. Here is The Knack you are referring to.

My understanding is that the vapor is only odorless glycerin. If that is true, perhaps the smell is in your mind or that person has bad breath.

None of what you wrote makes a lick of sense and doesn't address the fact that Intel just doubled their R&D, which you completely ignored. Where is your evidence that the R&D isn't used to develop new form factors and hardware? Where then are they spending that money? On software?

It may be chump change for Intel, but it wasn't for the OEM's. $60 million to Asustek more than doubled their annual R&D budget. Perhaps you should read their financial statements:

$60 million free per OEM for R&D is not chump change.

In the vacuum of space, it wouldn't have any sound.

Jobs was ruthless with suppliers as well:

Yeah, I'd say that if a chip manufacturer is willing to spend $300 million to incentivize OEM's to get off their lazy butts and create Mac Air competitors, then that is pretty industry shaking.

Excellent observations. One possible observation left out though is that Steve Jobs inspired fear in anyone that would leak, including employees.

That episode.
