Without a doubt, my G5 PPC. I have an iMac today with a core i7, but I liked the G5 better because I could install my own drives and it did run like a beast. I'd buy a new Mac Pro, but not until they come out with the redesigned ones next year. My first computer was an Apple II Special Woz edition back in 1984 I

What is the most embarrassing/regretful thing you have hit with an arrow? I once shot one up into the sky in my parents driveway and fortunately it came down exactly in the middle of two open grates on my dad's car so no visible damage. One more inch and I would have had to explain a big hole in my dad's car hood.

Its really all those things.

I agree good glass doesn't make a good photographer. I was giving him the benefit of the doubt that he is what others say he is, a good photographer. He brought the wrong equipment, but he still could have made better pictures even with the wrong equipment than he did.

I'd say it mattered looking at the pics.

"He's a great photojournalist but wasn't prepared to be taking portraits of the caliber that was asked of him."

Wrong! He brought slow glass to the shoot, that is obvious, even more so after looking at these lightroom edits. SLOW GLASS and no light preparation. My autistic son could shoot better photos. At least he understands lighting.

He brought slow glass to the shoot. That is obvious. If you want to dispute that, it will only show how little you know.

Even a 5D Mark III won't save you from bad glass which was this guy's issue from the start.

These are likely already photoshopped and shadows minimized. There is no saving these photos beyond what you see. This guy's rep is taking a deserved beating.

Anyone who has had good glass and a good DSLR knows this guy fucked up. There is no need to assume.

My conclusion is that he was drunk when he took these photos. There isn't even a need to take outside photos. He brought junk glass to the shoot and then probably said "fuck! Oh well." Good glass can save a photographer from poor lighting. This doesn't even look like he had good glass with him. This looks like

Joe had come armed with two cameras and three lenses (17-35, 70-200 and 300)"

Damn your young. Lunchables weren't available for 15-20 years after I went through grade school.

Neither will be produced for the consumer. If Apple had any intention of doing this, they would have asked the Patent office to hold off until after the public announcement which is their typical modus.

Hello, this is Research in Motion. We have looked at your resume and have determined that your lack of competence makes you a prime candidate for CEO. We would like to meet with you at your earliest convenience.

The Jelly Bean is actually a micro greenhouse so I'm not surprised it melted because the plastic used is not greenhouse tough. I once stored a small TV in my glass greenhouse and it's casing melted within days of the summer sun.

I'm less concerned with his "bid" than his skill. Lots of incompetents make millions per year, ask RIM.

Neurosurgeons don't make near the money of a radiologist that owns his own scanner. A good neurosurgeon will make $1 million a year. A radiologist that owns his own scanner in a metropolitan area can make $5 million a year. Not even in the same ball park. I use to bank a radiology practice in a major eastern metro

Perhaps you can ask your hospital administrator to hire a phlebotomist? You guys already make a lot more money than you should. I've financed many a home, business and luxury item for neurologists. Though I must say, the radiologists, especially ones that own their own scanners, make you guys look like paupers.
