I don’t know, that list just cements Toronto’s superiority in this category. But then, I spent the early-to-mid ‘00s listening to a lot of Canadian indie, and no American indie so that was going to be the case regardless.

“...an Eastern seaboard city’s indie rock scene. (Mine was Baltimore, not Toronto, so the music was better.”
I think all that is much less of a headache than what usually kills backwards compatibility which is getting new hardware to be able to run old games.
Andrea, who is already permanently banned from GDQ for wearing a MAGA hat during a previous GDQ and never apologized. Andrea, who has called her viewers f****ts and used the n-word on Twitter. Andrea, who has a serious history of stirring shit up for the sake of it. Hard for me to blame GDQ for not immediately…
Apparently I believe many things. Sheesh, overuse much.
How are you not “trusting anything until it’s confirmed” but are convinced the problem was him “running away FROM A SHOOTING SCENE” with his gun drawn? (And since he was not a security guard or police officer, WTF do you expect him to do?) Shut the entire hell up.
ETA: Also, WTF do Alabama cops expect in a SYG and open…
Then what’s the point?
Okay. But *I* have friends who work *here* in Pittsburgh and *we* would welcome any production that wanted to move. And I’m sure there are plenty of other smaller markets with local talent just like the 'burgh *eager* for a chance to work.
The WHCA ridiculousness with Wolf was particularly notable but it bears remembering: this is an odious event, and has been for as long as I’ve been politically aware. Stephen Colbert was also way over whatever imaginary line Wolf went over, during the GWBush administration, and the responses to his performance, while…
I see your point, though, I was going to award the rare MVP to Leslie. Her jumping in singing in the “forgotten Thanksgiving song” and floating into the foreground several times in the space-lab sketch - were both highlights.
It starts with a D and ends with an “iablo”
I don’t know, as a general rule it seems like people should be wary of getting an unsolicited Favre pic.
Nathan Peterman will still get signed by an NFL team before Colin Kaepernick, and millions of fuck heads will argue that it’s because he’s a more traditional, pro-style pocket passer than Kap was, despite all the evidence to the contrary.
I mean, technically Don Cheadle’s first line as Rhodey is “It’s me, I’m here, deal with it.” So that’s kind of a comment.
One is a tense, gripping, nightmare-inducing exploration of the exploitation of children in service to pure evil and the other is Hereditary.
Yeah the CGI at the end is...not good. I recently upgraded my home theater to a 4K projector and Black Panther was one of the first 4K movies we watched and at 100” and 4K resolution that end fight looked bad. The movie is still great overall, just not sure why that was skimped on.
Movies that get nominated for Oscars =/= “Oscar bait.”
Get a (best) grip.
Doesn’t Infinity War deserve a little Oscars love, too?
