Actually, most critics seemed to really like The Last Jedi.

Lmao fuck out of here with this fake bullshit outrage.
If they pay out Friends-level amounts of cash for The Office and then raise prices again, that’s probably when I’ll bail. I don’t see the value I get from Netflix going much higher than what they have it priced at now. Especially as companies continue to pull movies from rotation for their own streaming services.
I would assume it’s because Tetris 99 requires a Switch Online subscription, where as I believe you can play these for free without one.
Not sure if you have any interest in movies (you’re at the AV Club, so, there probably is some interest), but I dove head first into Blank Check with Griffin and David last year and never looked back. Hosted by Griffin Newman and (ex-AV Clubber) David Sims, they discuss filmographies one director at a time. I’m a huge…
They have called themselves criticism in the past and have, inadvertently or otherwise, pushed hundreds of thousands of people to view film through the lens of nitpicking, not through actual criticism. They’re terrible, and furthermore, for a so-called “comedic” YouTube channel, they’re really lacking in jokes.
Imo, Vogt-Roberts was absolutely right to call out CinemaSins and for false criticism of films. That channel has faced more scrutiny over the last couple years, and it’s for the better. CinemaSins is not criticism. It’s nitpicking for nitpicking’s sake, and they often lie about specific moments in films just to add a…
I think that the last two Russo Bros movies are bad, overbloated, and in the case of Infinity War, barely a movie.
I sat through the first end-credits scene for Ant-Man and the Wasp and, speaking as someone who did not care for Infinity War, found it the absolute worst (and most predictable) part of the film. It didn’t sour my experience by any means, but considering I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the film as a mostly…
No kidding.
That’s a goddamn bummer to start the week.
I hate seeing this get coverage. Fan theories are terrible 99 percent of the time and that’s certainly no different with Star Wars.
This is a weird gimmick account.
I can’t believe how good the beat actually is here. I wish every real Future song was this good.
That’s actually strange, when I worked there (at multiple stores in my area) we carried 3D movies, typically one or two copies of major films.
I’m pretty sure that’s too high, the source is from 2012 and I know for a fact the store count was lower when I worked there.
I mean, we can choose to pretend like this is somehow an anomaly, or we can note that there’s still 600 odd Family Videos in the Midwest and Northeast.
I mean, I get it. I don’t expect a politics site to get everything right about who directed a famous action film—
I watched all three episodes on Hulu last weekend, and honestly rather enjoyed it. It’s not groundbreaking, but I laughed a solid amount, and Howerton is always a blast to watch.
Considering The Last Jedi is not just watchable, but a great film, I’m not sure why we’d need him for this.
