Obligatory missing-option post: Half Life 2's gravity gun, which was a game-changer in every sense, and heralded a whole new era of physics-based weapons and tactics.

We saw time and time again that Tim’s deadliest match was Al.

I’m mostly asking, how the hell did it take so long to get the idea of just putting the Predator against badasses from different eras? Hopefully we’ll now get a whole bunch of movies with Predator vs. Vikings, knights, ninjas, pirates...

A: Why does every article about this mention Miller’s pronouns and gender identity? It’s completely irrelevant unless to suggest it plays either some part in what they’re accused of doing or is some placed there as though it’s some kind of mitigating factor.

I assume that “putting on the wig” includes the making it seem like there’s no hair under the wig and related makeup to blend it into your hair line. I assume that part takes a lot longer than just physically putting the wig on.

Apparently, millions of people disagree with your personal pedantry. Sorry.

That’s ridiculous on its face. It clearly bills itself as “plant-based.” Nobody thinks it’s actually sausage. Are sugar substitutes “deceptive” too? Decaf coffee? Cashew cheese? Vegan yogurt?

There’s nothing “deceptive” about it.

This, the dumbest take, again. Why you are so aggrieved by a simple marketing term, or what other people choose to eat and why, when it literally doesn’t affect you at all, is baffling. I eat fake meat because I like it, and IDGAF if it bunches up your panties. Get used to it, because these products are not going away.

really seems like they try so hard to get worked up about nothing

Welcome Gawker Gizmodo Media Group. A lot of these bloggers jobs is to find something to be irrationally offended by. Really the only ones who (kinda) avoid this are Jalopnik and Gizmodo itself.

As for this piece, it certainly feels like reaching for something that isn’t there

What a bizarre interpretation of this movie. I watched it over the weekend, and all I saw was a young woman who felt invisible and unspecial, and made a stupid mistake which led to a series of poor decisions. She was genuinely annoying and unlikable, but there was nothing presented about “white entitlement” or

The fact that this guy is famous just shows how stupid most humans are.

On the flip side the biggest European treats not allowed in America are Universal Health Care and the Kinder surprises..

hoi polloi doesn’t mean “the rich”, it means “the people”, as in rabble, the common man, etc.

Hi, yeah, that’s not how a good director should be working with any actor, let alone children. This myth of directors and acting teachers needing to manipulate and abuse actors (to program actors to seek their approval and feed their own ego) needs to fucking die. It’s a bullshit, toxic environment that is utterly

Just mash this up with “Gotta Light” from Twin Peaks: The Return!

If white people can invent ‘Latinx’ than TikTok can invent ‘Latinx food’.

all this and what I love most about him is how hilariously and completely unapologetic he is about his libertine lifestyle.  Terrific character that is fleshed out by a great actor who I never knew existed before this show.

It’s all subjective of course, but I thought the way the vampires rather attempt at honoring Nandor’s memory turned into something so base and petty was funny and fit with what we’ve seen in the last few seasons. Then there was Guillermo’s defensiveness and eventually Nandor’s mildly annoyed reaction. It was more than
