While it is absolutely true there aren’t enough good writers to go around (plenty of examples of bad writing if you look) if you are hired as a writer, you absolutely deserve to be paid properly for your work, and not be in fear of being replaced by an AI built on scraping your work, and that is non-negotiable.

Don’t know if they magic him up somewhere in this film, but it’s Denholm Elliot I miss the most from these films. He was kind of Indie’s handler but also way out of his league but did it with quiet charm and sincerity. Definitely my fav Indie character.

Usual Suspects is eminently rewatchable. Not for all the signs that point to the reveal, but because the dialogue is thick and fast and really fun. It’s got its own rhythm that is delightful to pore over. Prometheus also works for rewatch value. It gets some stuff wrong but there’s so much going on it’s fun to try…

I’ve tried to enjoy Event Horizon, the scary bits are good, but the floaty CGI objects, the acting (in places) and everything being filmed in close-up make it hard to love.

Agree he was the MVeep. But Logan wasn’t favoring Roman near the end. He didn’t favor any of them, he was just using him to break them apart and sow chaos. None of them were ever going to be annointed, least of all the masochistic, kicked dog, Roman.
