Is this for real? A company actually forcibly removed a passenger - over their mistake, no less - and essentially physically assaulted him?? And that statement is the only thing they have to say about it? This is legitimately unfucking believable, holy shit. I hope he sues the living hell out of them and wins.

I felt badly for them, too. To them, it’s probably just like some random evil people stealing their own child - they looked after her like family

Ehh. I think animals are pretty good at recognizing their own kind. But it could definitely have to do with it being a baby and not a fully grown cat/other species. I’m sure instincts play a part in it. I’m not entirely convinced they’re capable of acts of charity - and like I said, I don’t believe that they’re able

Who the f threatens to basically let their own children get sexually abused and mistreated just to keep their partner around?! He is sick. I really hope it works out for her, and I will also keep my fingers crossed regarding an “unfortunate” bus accident.

Really? Everything I looked at (it was a Google search, not a serious reading of medical journals, so I know your sources are more reliable than my limited ones) said there was not. But you’re basically saying that some strains can be tested for in the blood? Are the strains they can test for not the more serious ones

But it is kind of a big deal if it can lead to cancer... I’d rather people make it a big deal so people can get vaccinated and avoid ending up with cancer, just because only “some” strains of it cause cancer. Or am I not understanding something correctly?

Yes, you “all” and you “guys”. I didn’t really consider the you as plural in those situations because you’re also saying all or guys. I have heard it in a speech, though, I’m sure. Guess it just has never registered as being plural.

Jesus. I obviously don’t know him, but just going on that information alone, he sounds like an enormous effing scumbag. I hope things are okay for your sister now =(

Wtf? That is really disturbing. But considering that chimpanzees and humans share about 98-99% of the same DNA as them, it’s not entirely shocking to know that our closest relatives would do something so disgusting.

I’m not sure I entirely agree with that. For one, animals don’t have a whole lot of choice (or intellect advanced enough to determine an alternative, or even realize that there an alternative could exist at all) in some of those things - they kill and eat their young out of hunger or because it’s weak or ill,

No shit. You said “what do you think the word feral means”. My answer was a direct response with the relevant definition for how I was using the word. Had you asked for a complete definition of feral and all its usage, I could’ve cut and pasted that for you. It’s not rocket science.

There definitely is, I’m not denying that. But most of the time it’s cruelty out of biological imperatives - lions kill other lions’ cubs because they don’t want another male’s line around, cats kill small animals to practice their hunting skills (not just because they’re mean), etc. The terrible things that humans

Asparagus ice cream ... Oh dear lord >_<

Okay? Come back to me when you can show me animals who had six million of their kind killed because they didn’t like the color of their fur. I’ll wait right here.

Savage; brutal; ferocious. It’s right there in the dictionary if you’d like to know.

Yeah, I don’t know ... All I know is HPV is a much bigger concern than I previously thought it was. And that’s actually not all that crazy of a theory at all! I would like to think/hope somebody somewhere is researching that idea.

Did I say it would? Shouldn’t you be in school or doing homework, or something?

I don’t do that, and I can’t really think of a situation where it’s happened that I remember. Maybe it’s just not common in my area.

Uh, because me going and living with them isn’t going to result in humans never inflicting atrocities on one another? What a dumb thing to say.

It’s really not, though. Obviously there are outliers in that just as there are in everything, but they are the exception, not the rule. The “cruel” things that animals do are biological imperatives and things done for survival. The cruel things that humans do are often out of greed, hate, and evil.
