A girl in my high school had alopecia and this same thing happened to her. She also decided to just forego the wig and wear big earrings to accentuate her look. I remember hearing an older woman compliment her close-cut hair and seeing how she beamed. I can only imagine how the cruelty and humiliation would have been…

It’s a shame she feels she needs the wig, because she’s one of the rare ones who’s got the features to pull off that look. Like an Erté sculpture, almost.

Toni is a gem! I have not seen her in one role that I haven’t enjoyed. I even watched Fun Mom Dinner for her...well, and Bridget Everett, of course. My favorite of hers will always be United States of Tara, tho. I miss that show so much.
