Pretty much. I vote Democrat largely because they at least seem interested in governing. The bare minimum, yes. But when the other choice is a death cult that is increasingly okay with inciting violence against people, i’ll take the bare minimum.

The real problem is the acceptance of Dark money that is pervasive in

But the thing is DLC’s actually do provide a service to gaming as it does allow developers to sustain video games well beyond their launch—horse armor be damned. I think that’s a big reason why people eventually accepted (Or tolerated) DLC. That and DLC is self-explanatory. NFTs? Not so much.

A lot of stans don’t seem to understand that like at all.  But again, it really shouldn’t surprising: Elon Musk is what dumb people think a genius is.

Counter-point: nah.

So...just gonna ignore context then?

“And when you consider the more user friendly Switch experience, I don’t think they’re in as much competition as more hardcore gamers and PC users would think.”

Pretty much. It’s a premium device for a premium user base. It’s why Valve doesn’t really try to market it as something that’s competitive to Nintendo’s

Yeah. Everytime I go to the comment thread, there’s always people who seem to pretend that the industry won’t abuse AI to put out art fast and cheaper at the detriment to actual artists who put time and effort in.

Like of course someone with the skill and know-how is going to take the technology and do some amazing

There actually is a (sort-of) adaptation of Tomie on Netflix called The Girl From Nowhere.  While there are significant differences, the core premise of a girl who absolutely wrecks havoc on everyone for her own personal enjoyment remains intact.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a game course correct so hard from the previous game as Street Fighter 6, but goddamn does every trailer I’ve seen of this bring the hype.

Mad Max was exactly what I was thinking about. Max Max was a generic open world game that was competent enough that you can see a certain crowd of people enjoy it. Though there was also a group of Gamergaters trying to suggest that critics didn’t like the game due to wokeness as well.

Oh don’t worry: woke is for the youngins.  Fox news still trot out Socialism and communists for the boomers.

No they didn’t drop it. But Zero Build game modes have absolutely become the defacto game mode for Fortnite. I believe Zero Build was a limited game mode, but it became so popular that it’s now a permanent game mode.

It’s kinda how I feel about it too. I thought the prologue was exceptional and was expecting that quality for the show. But I dropped if after two episodes because it felt like the show was trying to cram Gundam into a light novel anime, complete with racist rich kids and a high school hierarchy the main characters

While I know everyone is on that CSM shit (including myself), man Akiba Maid Wars might be the most fun I’ve had with an anime in years. Getting past the edgy shock humor of cute anime girls massacring each other in gangland hits, what works for me is how much it lovingly references the Yakuza films from the 60s and

When I saw that shit during a Skill Up review where Sonic Frontiers was right behind the likes of God of War and Elden Ring I did a fucking spit take. I mean if we’re going to split hairs, I’d argue that Genshin Impact is far more deserving of any award over Sonic Frontiers.

nice

Pretty much this. There are fair arguments to be sure of the development woes of the Pokemon games, but you’re dead on how crazy it is that there are people here expecting perfection for a title on a console that, as much as I love, is waaaaay past its prime.

Basically it’s a bunch of nerds looking for anything,

But Bayonetta is also not an open world game with a shit ton of monsters for people to catch.

It absolutely the problem is making a game for a console that is over 5 years old.

Christ you need to get off your high horse.

Sometimes you gotta fight fire with fire.”
