@Adam Coleman: My problem is how they are portraying Shane. He doesn't seem like a likeable character which makes Lori's jumping his bones seem even more improbable. In the comics he seemed like almost a suitable replacement for Rick after his assumed passing. The TV version is just an asshole.

@Stubnaz: Not trying to give spoilers, but the climbing fences thing may be especially problematic later in the series, considering where the core group will be spending their time for a while.

@nctrns: Can we get over this already? In every Walking Dead post, it "OMG, there not calling them zombies!" I really don't get the outrage.

@andrai: I won't go into details here because it may be a spoiler, but Rick's instructions are incorrect. This is probably not a goof on the part of the series, as Rick is still pretty new to the zombie scene.

@TangoDOWN!: The issue isn't that there are suicides, it's that it

@RalOberon: I know he's not included in the Avengers movie, but wouldn't Eric Stoltz be a great Ant-Man?

It's like someone took this picture and turned it into a movie.

In the near future...

@SG-17: Sad that you actually had to explain that.

You laugh now, but when the Green Goblin/John Boehner (actually he's kinda orange) replaces the Department of Homeland Security with HAMMER I'll be on my way to Canada.

Explanation-he was bleeding from a gunshot wound to the abdomen. Reading a medical emergency book on the Kindle while calling the hospital from the iPhone.

@Grglstr: Sounds like Demolition Man.

I think the US and Canada are both fine countries.

@Copernileo: I think many of us wanted to pretend that it was true, which is different than actually believing it to be true. It was fun to imagine that a time traveler was caught on film, but really, we (I'm going to use "we" as loosely as you did) knew it was not true.

@baldly_going: And where's my Powers TV show? FX, get on that!

Meh. NBC, lost me with what they did to Heroes. This still looks like Nightman 2 to me.

When I was younger and the world was in the middle of the Cold War, The Day After and Threads was far scarier than The Exorcist to me. Later on, Saving Private Ryan scared the crap out of me in its opening sequence, as for the first time I realized how randomly death could come to you.
