I thought Jimmy might have been able to get into the final. But I did think it would come down to those three and I thought Jenna would make it to the semis. But they were probably just that much better than the rest of the field, how do you make that less predictable?

I guess that's true, but they weren't in the competition anymore. It would make sense to me that they just went home after they were eliminated, and for whatever reason, didn't come back for the finale. I don't we should just assume why they weren't there. They might have had legitimately good reasons.

Some of the kids seemed genuinely more mature than most other kids, though. Like Nathan and Jimmy, for example.

Give him a break, he's just a kid and seemed to get along with everyone else. He was just very vocal about his confidence and has a lot of time to mature. I am glad Nathan won, because of his personality and I think he deserved it. I was rooting for him or Jimmy to win it all.

Or maybe their parents didn't want them to miss anymore school. Who knows?

That's not a diss, that's just something he thought gave him an advantage. After that, Nathan disagreed and said he thought he was more composed that Andrew. It's not like they said the other kid was bad at cooking or anything.

Andrew was a bit of a blowhard, but cut him a little slack, he's just an eleven year old kid. Nathan was much more mature and I'm glad he won, but Andrew wasn't a bad kid. He helped Jenna when she couldn't make her hollandaise sauce and never got frustrated when he was teamed up with Riley (the 8 yr old).

We know that, but overly idealistic Claire probably didn't. I think she's starting to have doubts though after her discussion with Greer.

Brownie points for the LOTR reference. You just brought two of my most favorite things together. The Lord of the Rings, and the world of Breaking Bad.

    Same here.

Once Saul started running over there I laughed and realized that he probably paid that guy to fall. Not as much as I laughed when that old lady watched Chuck run away in that Space Blanket. I'm not sure why, but that was so freaking hilarious to me.

That's the only reason I was optimistic at all about this show. I know Vince, Peter and company are behind it.

I certainly understand the fear of AI myself. But those capabilities are in the more distant future for now.

Well I can understand that. I was mad at her for endangering Finch when all he tried to do was help her. But they weren't trying to kill him, just recruit him. She probably thought she would succeed.

So true. Executives always mess with things. They should just leave the writers to their own. They're always asking for things like unnecessary romances (e.g. The Hobbit). That's what I always appreciated about AMC, getting out of Vince's way on Breaking Bad and just letting him and his team do their thing. It's

Indeed. Getting people to accept an AI run government would be very difficult. There would always be those who would resist the idea. I love how this show gets us to think about things. It's so relevant.

Really? I think it's good to see the other side and some of the Samaritan agents, personally. It's like a foil to Root. But I guess we can agree to disagree.

Ah, I see. At least you're willing to admit it's not really rational. I'm rather neutral when it comes to Silva. I don't dislike her, as you do. But I don't thoroughly enjoy her either. I think the actress has more acting chops that the girl that plays Claire, although I find Claire's character more compelling. I

I agree. If Root wanted to kill Claire, Claire would be dead. I have no doubt about that. Why would Root bother telling Claire to give someone a message, only to kill her seconds after? That makes no sense at all. And she clearly was shooting her in the arm so that she would drop the cell phone. Unless the camera guy

Yes, humans are flawed. But everything is. That doesn't mean we should abandon our free will. We are capable of terrible things, such as nuclear war, but we're also capable of doing many innovative and imaginative things such as landing on the moon or creating beautiful works of art.
