How long before we get a Monarch: Legacy Of Monsters type show but for Ghostbusters? They can call it, Ghostbusters: Legacy of Slime.

I’ll have to admit, I’m actually looking forward to this. I do wish they didn’t bring back the tiny Stay Puft Marshmallow Men. The updated library ghost and the lion effect looked very good. I’ll bet they are part of a Ray’s dream sequence.

That backdrop RTD is in front of feels very familiar, it has the year 5 Billion vibe to it.

I was being tongue-in-cheek as well. The Brigadier has looked down the lens a few times if memory serves. As the 3rd is becoming the 4th he says... “Well, here we go again” but it’s not down the barrel. Madame Vastra says the same thing when meeting the 12, but not down the barrel.

There have been a few times Doctor Who has broken the fourth wall, from the 1st Doctor wishing us a Happy Christmas, to Tom Baker looking right down the lens, it’s not all that odd. 

Yes, the portable LCD computer was where I drew the line. Having owned an Osborn 1 and a Macintosh Portable, there was NOTHING like what they suggested in that era.

I think “slightly” altered history shows are tough to get viewers interested in them. If you are old enough to know how different the history is, you probably don’t enjoy the show as a concept. “Halt and Catch Fire” is another example, great show, but for coders/geeks who lived through that era the “wrongness” of the…

Wow when Lego gets something wrong... they get it INCREDIBLY wrong! The Earth is about 40 times too big. If you made the Moon be Earth instead, it’s still way too big... and too close. Science, it’s not as exacting as we might think!

I thought Shout Factory just owned the rights to release MST3K media, I didn’t think they owned it out right. That’s an interesting question if they do.

I love MST3K, always have, but I think we might have to accept the fact that with 9 days to go, and they are only at 35% of the 1st goal. Season 13 might be the final series of MST3K.

ADR is fairly quick to do, James Earl Jones did all of Vader’s lines in like 4 hours for each film. So that’s super easy.

I’m 100% all in for this. The fact it doesn’t feel like a fan service sequel, but just a Ghostbusters story with some familiar people in it is perfect.

How are they NOT showing one of these specials ON the anniversary? 2013 wasn’t that long ago. We had the Excel Center, we had 3D Doctor Who in theaters, it was a glorious time.
