I get what you’re saying, some cars have specific traits because of their engines and shouldn’t be swapped.

I blame that on dash lights- some cars the dash lights illuminate with the DRL -others not I use the dash lights to tell me if the outside lights are on-

No you clearly missed the point. He did it himself because he didn’t buy the car to take it to the dealer to get fixed all the time. He bought it as a learning experience and plans on modding and fixing the car all himself.
