In a world with so many sensors detecting everything, why not have an ambient light sensor that tells you your lights ARENT on when it is dark? Either an idiot light, or a message on the display. I think everyone that drives a manual car should also learn how to operate the car without a clutch. Its pretty easy, being sure to rev match on changes. Hardest part is starting off in gear and pulling away on the starter.

yeah nah, Nissan also has timing chain issues. The VQ engines used in the Stagea likes to stretch and throw the timing out. The same also happened to a friends CR12DE March 12SR. Chains arent the be all, end all. At least with a belt they are designed to be replaced, chains are generally more buried and harder to get…

If he did purchase it from a dealership, shouldnt they be liable for selling him an illegal car (and obviously not advising him it wasnt legal)?

They dont normally look like that. Maybe lifts up and tilts away to aid in getting in and out of the car?

In the case of the AMG cars, its usually a single pipe that terminates just before the exhaust “finishers”.
