Exactly what did you not like about the remake? Personally for me, it actually helped a lot because since it was a good deal brighter, I could actually play through a lot of points that used to be much too dark on my TV (brightness didn't help for some reason). And overall I've heard mostly positive things about it.

I think the big thing too is that, at least in my experience, what you're describing is much more the default position of a group of female friends going out than "let's bag some guys." And hey, if other people are out doing the same thing and happen to be guys, all the better :)

Shhh indeed.

I think the big thing with this too is that if a guy doesn't care whether he gets some or not, then most likely he's going to be much easier to get along with and there's much more potential for something more than a one night stand out of him. For me and my group of friends at least, we avoid guys who seem desperate

I think you might feel this way because in media you haven't seen otherwise. I'm sure you can at least agree that fiction can only reflect certain aspects of life with some (sometimes major) discrepancies. For example, if a person from another country watches a bunch of American rap music videos and has no other

I'm currently writing for a video game company. I'm not sure how much authority that necessarily gives me, but I think it's at least worthy to note. Now, from what I understand about the situation here (I'd much rather classify it as "situation" than "controversy" since I think the latter is strong), this doesn't

I don't think Bella is even close to a good example of why people don't like female characters. None of the characters within the series are well-crafted and even typing one of the books into a search engine will quickly give you a well-though out argument to why the books in general are just not a good example of

I think this can still be incorporated into my fourth option :) Part of being a better writer is to learn how to write different types of people, and if you're still learning that, then you probably shouldn't be writing professionally just yet. I think a lot of times video game companies will either let the

"Will this nerdy assassin find true love in this city full of deceit and Templars? Or will he make a fool out of himself while doing so? Find out this summer at a theater near you!"

Like I was! :D

See, when Sephiroth came, that was the one time he WAS looking at the monster. (I've obviously never played this game hahah).

I definitely get your point, and a person should be able to criticize it as long as it's, you know, criticism (the Internet can be bad at that sometimes hahah). I haven't really paid attention to when the argument is used, so I'll look out for it but in the meantime take your word for it :) Believe me, I would like

He just saw it's "Buy One, Get One Free" on Phoenix Downs. He'll quickly realize though that Final Fantasy games back in the day heavily separated its gameplay from its story, and no, that shit won't work on Aerith.

This can be a really gray area and depend a lot on circumstance. I'm a girl and personally I find myself writing more male protagonists than I do female ones. I'm not honestly sure why I seem to write one over the other, but once you have a story rolling and characterization and development built around a character,

I've explained this to someone else as well. I think the issue here isn't that Ubisoft doesn't have female main characters in these two games. There's a big difference between playing as a character who acts and thinks on his own (aka not simply an avatar of who is playing them) and an avatar used for

Fourth option? You can hire better writers :) Many men can write compelling women just as many women can write compelling men. If you can't, then you probably have way more problems with you writing than just that.

I don't really like fighting games, so I watched P4A instead of played it. I don't feel the need to by P4AU for some cards hahah

Since you mentioned it, I want to ask something.

*Spoilers?*

Did you feel that True Detective was supernatural in any way? It was obviously super, super understated if it was, but I'm taking a tally to see what people thought about that because honestly, I was able to predict a lot of the story (though I still liked it

I honestly don't care about the cards that much. That case, though. That case is where it's at.

You know, I don't like Vocaloid music until I'm PLAYING the games. I never had much interest in it beforehand, but I decided to download the demo for kicks, and man, even my roommate who wants nothing to do with anime at all wanted to learn the dance from "World's End Dancehall" with me. This game is some addicting
