I'm not entirely sure of the whole story, so you're most likely right about it, but the whole experience has (hopefully) taught devs and publishers that up until release, everything's prototype hahah. These ME screens are way too early to determine much about them at all, so again, not overly worried :)

It seems like they've very clear about it being prototypes, so I don't think it's cause for too much concern. Alien Colonial Marines, for example, spouted that everything they were showing was 100% in-game material in a full-on demo. Very different, at least in my book.
