There's an English patch for the original LovePlus on the DS that I've been playing. It's actually much better done than I thought it'd be. I'd give it a try :)

I consider myself a feminist and I've been playing the patched version of the original LovePlus recently :) The game definitely has a few issues, such as the personality change, but some girls do truly try to change their personalities for guys, and it feels terribly, terribly forced. I'm ultimately "dating" Takane,

Again, that's an interpretation of character, and I could easily see how the scene went down that way; however, as I see it, one of Cersei's very few if not only virtues is her love for her children - even if that love at many times can be a vice as well. For her to decide "fuck it, going to have sex right here"

Hopefully by the time that happens, internet infrastructure everywhere will be much more apt for the change. I've never necessarily been against it, but after being in many places with very poor internet over the past two years, this generation simply wasn't a feasible time. I would love next generation to be since

Fuckface McKenzie...! I dunno why, but that made me laugh very hard. Thank you :)

"What big lips you have..."

"All the better to slightly suck you with as I consume you whole and make you into one of my young that I will promptly throw at my enemies."

You see, if Samus was more developed as a character and obviously showed preference to wearing heels, I would be more than fine with it. We need more stereotypical strong women to be individuals instead of, well, stereotypes; however, from what I understand (I have only seen people play some of the Metroid games, and

I agree with you that she is a terrible person who goes far past the point of redemption, but rape is never a justice. There are situations where a person is killed (say, in self-defense) that the lines of death are blurred, but in those situations, the person is oftentimes defending themselves and instinctively

Again, just because she's an awful person does not make rape a justice. Sometimes a person must be killed (say, in self-defense), but while self-defense is a reaction to violence happening towards you, rape is a conscious decision that lowers you far, far below what your victim has done (if they've done anything at

Huh. I swore I saw it as a verb. Oh well. The more you know.

Part of me wants to tell you so we can both have a good laugh; the other part of me wants to maintain your innocence.

Exactly.

Cersei is an awful person, but even the worst people don't deserve to be in terrible sexual situations, which Cersei has been a part of a good amount of her life.

I forgot the book scene was right after he returned to the capital... Yeah, while I see that scene as rape, I would say the proper classification would be dubious consent that depends on how the reader sees Cersei as a character. (Jaime can be a problematic point-of-view, so I don't always trust what's on the page).

See, I had always seen the book scene as rape, way before it was ever shown in the show. To cave in and say "yes" after several statements of "no" and banging on his chest does not invalidate the non-consent. Now, do I think the show handled the scene well? No. Do I think a lot of people ignore the fact that Jaime's

I just figured out what "plotting" meant the other day, and well, I really wish I hadn't.

After watching this, I gave the English-patched LovePlus a go, and I'm really quite liking it! I went with Manaka since I've seen so much with Rinko with your posts, but thanks for turning me onto it :) I've always played games with dating-sim elements instead of being straight-up dating sims, so this was great!

I wore heels that size to high school :D At least in Japan you have slippers to wear in schools, so she wouldn't be sporting them all day, but heels that height can actually be pretty comfy!

I haven't played Escha, so I can't comment on that, but when I first played Ayesha when it came out (and was never able to complete due to being out of the country for a long period of time), I definitely noticed a difference between the localization of that particular game compared to the Arland trilogy. I thought I

I grew up playing the old Harvest Moons, so I definitely know about being "forced" to play a male in games :) In fact, I usually play HM as a male character to this day hahah.
