I am SO OVER this oversized hideous sneaker trend.

Cable news has done so much harm to this country.

I’d like to just nuke all of cable news. Headline news included. You can keep sports and weather. The rest needs to gtfo.

I agree. Too “Florida retiree.” Looks kinda cheap.

“A lot of it has to do with how we talk to each other. Compliments on a woman’s appearance, that some men, including me, might have once incorrectly thought were okay, were never okay. Not then and certainly not today.”

Agreed, it’s unflattering and awful. This looks like “Pompano Beach retiree who just got lipo and wants to show it off at the country club.” You could do the shirt with normal jeans, OR the jeans (ideally with a shirt that covers their awkward waist area) but not both together.

Agree to disagree about her bringing curvy to the forefront. Exhibit A - Jlo.

Not so fast! I’d argue that Kim K and her butt are what started the trend for bigger women to be fashionable and sexy. Prior to that, the “hot-girl” icons were rail thin Paris Hilton types.

The transformation started way before Kanye. She was already way into the butt implants and plastic surgery before him, he just finished molding her - literally and figuratively.

Yeah, that suit is doing horrible things to her obvious ass implants.

I imagine these 2 walking and sounding like someone rubbing two huge rubber balloons together.

Pre-Kanye Kim was so beautiful. I remember seeing her as a young 20-something and actually feeling good about being a short girl with a big butt. I never liked Kanye, but when I heard he threw away all her clothes like some kind of controlling maniac I got a bad feeling about where that relationship was going. Oh well.

From what I can tell of Mr. Styles, he’s a believer in pearls go with everything.

Mr. Styles is a fuckin’ class act! And he looks darling in his 1970s grandpa/grandma getup

No matter how ironic your posture, there’s nothing countercultural about draping yourself from head to toe in ugly overpriced aspirational logo gear. Her outfit is an essay about how consumerism kills counterculture.

Billie Eilish so aggressively wants us to think she doesn’t care about image that I’m pretty sure all she cares about is image.

Do you really think your run of the mill strip clubber would recognize Constance Wu?

I know Oprah has done some good, but I can’t get past Dr Oz and ‘Dr’ Phil and the harmful snake oil shit they sell.

I agree with her credentials. A lot can be said about good things Oprah has done for the world, too. I think Tyra is only more harmless because she doesn’t have the reach though.

I have a neighbour whose clothes, hair and make-up are straight from a time capsule from the 90s. I suspect that it was the high point of her life, and now she’s won’t let go of that style, bootcut jeans and all. Tyra Banks seems to be suffering from the same syndrome. All her talk about fashion, and she still dresses
