Sorry if I don’t have a tremendous amount of sympathy for her over the fact that someone took a picture of her at a bad angle while she was wearing some ugly pants and people made jokes about it. Should people have done it? No. Was it mean? Yes. Do I think it merits a tell-all interview about how it destroyed her,

I think it’s just because she sounds posh in the good place.

Jameela Jamil didn’t get the point of Trace Lysette’s post which is that Jamil didn’t have any connection with the ball world but got the job anyway.

My guess is that the house mother wants to stir things up to get attention. She replied to a tweet by Deadline Hollywood about Jameel being the MC and said she auditioned for that. Jameel replied trying to clear things up by explaining she’s a host, not MC, but the house mother person changed her story and now claims

Agreed.  It’s another example of an outspoken brown woman being held to a higher standard than the mostly white people commenting about her.

But once that was cleared up, the drama still continued. The tone of the piece certainly isn’t very sympathetic to Jameel, for an error that’s most certainly not hers. And why didn’t the House Mother who auditioned for the show tweet at any of the other two non-Voguers hired for the show?

“Former K-pop idol Seungri has been indicted on charges including prostitution and habitual gambling, about a year since allegations first came to light in a sexual abuse scandal that has rocked South Korea’s entertainment industry.”

Not all of us are so comfortable in dismissing the fact that the figurehead you like is actively protecting a child rapist, who is indeed a member of the family that you don’t apparently don’t mind more than any other rich person.

I don’t know about ‘sullied’ - Prince Andrew?

And please give us a spinoff of the Spellman sisters!

Nah keep Riverdale away from my Sabrina. Riverdale long ago fell off the tightrope that was insane and fun into insane and dumb. Sabrina still is managing nicely.

Gosh I just really don’t think its a good look placing homosexuality in between rape and torture in a list of inappropriate things for children.

From what I saw its got depictions of cannibalism, orgies, human sacrifice, hazing, torture, homosexuality, rape, mind control, oh and Satanic worship. I personally have no problem, but children might have questions and nightmares from the episodes.  Almost forgot the references to a Church Leader attempting to use

Exactly this! Not to mention that on the horror side the second episode features someone being murdered with what looked like a hammer to the face? Plus a ghostly apparition with a bloody slit throat creeping around in the third. I could go on and on. How could someone think this is a show for children???

Also in like the first ten minutes of the first episode there is very graphic violence...

Agree. LOL! I think that means the reviewer saw one or two episodes and called it a day.

Sabrina seems built for a much younger audience—maybe even children.”

She realizes that becoming a full witch also means surrendering your autonomy (and not to mention literal virginity) over to Satan himself.”

K.S. is 18 now, and she looks young so it works out really well. Honestly she worked out surprisingly well for Mad Men, considering she was actually YOUNGER than Sally Draper

This series is not based at all on the previous TV series, it is based on The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, which is a reimagining / more in-depth take on the the original Sabrina comic that would appear in Archie comics. The previous TV series was based on that comic, but two things based on one original source
