UMKC just put in a robotic library system as well.

"its the same as a crown for a human."

Where did he get that poster? I sure hope he didn't print it using a computer. What about all the Typerwriter manufacturers? Computers killed the economy!! Better yet, what about all the type setters that used to set those letters by hand? what about their jobs!! Typewriters killed America! The printing press killed

thats what the palm rejection is for.

I'm sure this is common knowledge, but Fluid for OS X allows you to make site specific browser apps, which can then be made into menu item micro apps. I've done this with a few sites, but my favorite is Wunderlist. The Wunderlist app for OSX is great, but I wanted something quicker and more minimal. Using Fluid I

so... like this?

I hope it helps. I recommend you visit a dentist if you get one something like this. Surely your bite will not come together as it normally would, which can lead to TMJ problems, headaches, etc. Not to mention constantly clenching on this thing could fracture the hearing aid or your teeth.

I completely agree. No one wants a plastic macbook, and if it isn't a Pro, it must not be good enough for their facebook addiction. I'd love to see a comparison of the profit margins on each of Apple's products.

And in true Apple fashion, AppleTV apps will require new hardware; the all new AppleTV3!! Even though you just bought an AppleTV2 and the hardware is perfectly capable of handling it.

Huzzah for progress! HUZZAH!!

@Azu-nyan: I would assume the battery is for amplification. The headphones are most likely wired, and the charge is only required for powering the speakers.

Can't wait for it to be reprocessed into 3D!

@crazyhead: Get the 4 GB. If you dont you always always assume the 4GB would have been better/faster/ etc. Just drop the extra $100 and save yourself the worry, since you wont be able to upgrade later. Go with the smaller SSD and get a portable drive.

@mrwumasta: Exactly! A less expensive, fast, super lightweight Macbook Pro. Just what Apple users have always wanted.

@tobylane: I would say "very unlikely" to "impossible". If anything I would say you will firewire and ethernet dropped from macbook pros.

@GizmodeX: I disagree. Part of the problem with netbooks is that the screen is too small to be productive. The 11" is pushing it as it is, so they cranked up the resolution to make things fit better.

Im getting this: E: Couldn't find package org.xbmc.xbmc-atv2

@Don Is: It's multitouch because it can recognize multiple touch inputs. And yes, it has always been that way.

The multitouch gestures make sense on the iPad because you already need to use two hands to use it. I would assume that most of us frequently use our iPhones with one hand, poking around with just the thumb. And with the fact that the iPhone screen is just too small to accommodate 4 fingers, it just doesn't make sense

@wætherman: This drives me crazy. I don't understand why the videos never load, yet the somewhat invasive THIS IS GIZMODO!!! video always appears.
